Each of our cells contains nearly identical copies of our genome, which provides instructions that allow us to develop and function. This course serves as an introduction to the main laboratory and theoretical aspects of genomics and is divided into themes: genomes, genetics, functional genomics, systems biology, single cell approaches, proteomics, and applications.

In the description of this course you could read: "We start with the basics, DNA sequencing and the genome project, then move to high throughput sequencing methods and applications". If you are assuming that all this concepts will be explained, then you are wrong. Is just the opposite. The course starts assuming that you are already well versed on these themes. Before taken this course, you have to know a lot of molecular biology.

Too many written assignments. Boring and not well put together. Just take a writing class instead.
